About  Adam Gill

With a BA (Hons) in Media Arts, Adam has worked in television since 2005. Passionate about documentary and factual productions, Adam relishes the opportunity to seek out and craft the most engaging and entertaining narrative. 

Beginning his career at Channel 4 Television, over a period of five years Adam worked his way through the ranks from runner to junior editor. In 2010 Adam joined Input Media, there he worked as both an offline and online editor on a wide range of programming for clients which included, Sky Sports, ITV and ESPN.

Whilst working for Input Media, Adam developed a strong working relationship with Pitch International. Amongst an array of documentary sports series, In 2012 he worked with Pitch on a feature length documentary film about former world champion cyclist Mark Cavendish. 'Mark Cavendish, Born to Race', was distributed by Universal and after it's initial DVD release was broadcast on ITV4.

​With a view to exploring new projects and opportunities, in 2013 Adam launched Figure Four Films. Through the company, he has since produced and directed Two Falls to a Finish, a two part documentary mini-series broadcast on Challenge TV in 2015 and An Extraordinary Gentleman a documentary about WWE 'Superstar' Jack Gallagher which was broadcast on FreeSports in January 2018.

Along side Figure Four Films Adam continues to work as a freelance Editor for various clients. Over the last four years Adam has worked on several engaging documentary series, helped oversee the launch of magazine show FIFA Football and cut a number of feature length documentaries. One such documentary was Crossing The Line, which won the British Sports Journalism award for 'Television Sport Factual or Feature Programme 2017' and for which Adam personally received a nomination for, 'Best Editing of a Documentary Feature' at the Madrid International Film Festival in 2017.
